This is an outstanding Minton Majolica Jester Tankard or Beer Stein circa 1870 with vibrant colors and scenes of dancers and a figural Jester head on the lid. This is a very rare stein and commands high values in auctions and sales when it can even be found.  It measures 14" tall. There is a crack and repair on the lid which can be seen upon close examination (see last two photos).
