A large and detailed 19th Century landscape painting depicting a castle in the distance with a river flowing toward the viewer with rocks, trees and a beautiful blue sky with clouds by English artist, William Mark Fisher (1841-1923), housed in a gilt wood and gesso frame.

The painting measures 30” x 50” and the overall size including the frame measures 35” x 55”. The canvas has been lined at some time in its previous history. The painting has been professionally cleaned and revarnished and is ready to hang. There are some restorations to the frame as well, but it presents nicely.
