A wall plaque made of some kind of heavy metal, may be cast iron plated in nickel and bronze colored depicing two Landsknecht and a dog. The metal does have ferrous content as a magnet will stick to it. This appears to be late 19th or early 20th Century. The back of the plaque has a metal nipple of some kind in the center which was used to attach to a wall or building. The plaque measures 13 1/4” x 9 3/8” and weighs 5 pound 11oz. It is in very good condition and has light rubbing of the bronze finish in high points of the design elements as would be expected from wear, age and use.
