An oil on canvas painting by Belgian artist, Alex de Andreis (18880-1929) depicting a cavalier or courtier of the 17th Century in a red cloak, lace collar and wide-brimmed hat before a leaded glass window and wooden wall panel. The gentleman has a large mustache and goatee and looks directly at us. Provenance: Cunningham Galleries, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

The painting image area measures 13 1/8” x 10” and with frame measures approximately 18 1/2” x 15 3/8”. The painting and frame are both in excellent original condition. Purchase information on back with original owner.
