This painting by Belgian artist, Alex de Andreis (1880-1929), is entitled “At Court” and is signed lower right.  The man seated in this painting appears to be the same man seated in the painting titled “The Traitor”, elaborately dressed in 17th Century clothing. The site area measures 30 3/4” x 38 1/2” and with the gilt frame measures 39” x 47”. 

This painting is in very good condition with a bright glossy varnish.
