An oil on canvas painting by Belgian artist, Alfred Edouard A. De Bylandt (1829-1890) featuring a large castle with a hunter and his dog in the foreground. A beautiful and charming castle painting in nice detail with trees and foliage along with a bird-filled sky. The painting is signed and dated by the artist 1857.

The painting and frame are in very good condition, and appears to have been cleaned and restored in 2002 according to the date on the back. The painting measures 15 1/4” x 23 3/4” and with the frame measures 2y6 1/2” x 35 1/2”.
