Antique Secretary Drop Front Desk with carving depicting knights on horseback on front panel above a single large drawer with carved front, rising on eight barley twist legs and Gothic arches. This is a beautiful piece with detailed carving.  Behind the drop-down front is a leather writing surface with gold pattern around the edges of the leather.  There are six small drawers, 4 small slots and one large slot.  There is some damage to the leather writing surface, which appears to have been damaged by fire and/or water.  There is also what appears to be a cigarette burn on the top and one visible on the outer apron (see photo).
