A great Gothic style bronze statue of St. Michael with wings spread, wearing armor and brandishing his sword, standing on a stone chasm. The sculpture measures 18" high including the stone. The side of the stone is signed J. Sonzowacht. The sculpture is depicted in Berman’s Book of Bronzes Volume 4, page 1108, plate 4438 as “Angel of Glory”, with a date Circa 1915.

The left side of the stone appears to have been chipped and has a different color where the chip is located, but this does not detract from the beauty and sheer intensity of the Archangel Michael standing and ready for warfare. A truly beautiful bronze.
