This is a beautiful miniature landscape oil painting on board by British artist Edmund Johann Niemann (1813-1876) depicting a seaside beach with cottages and figures, possibly the Welsh coastline. The amazing thing about this small painting is the amount of detail depicted. There are figures walking along a road, two beach cottages, two more tiny figures by the first cottage, a pier in the water, and even the small depiction of an ocean vessel with smoke coming from it. The colors and detail or beautiful, by a very talented, listed British landscape artist.

The painting site area measures 13 3/8” x 4 5/8” and the overall dimensions with the frame measure 15” x 6”. The painting has been professionally cleaned and restored and newly framed. It is beautiful work of art and ready to hang.
