A wonderfully executed small oil painting on canvas by Belgian artist, Francois DuMont, signed and dated 1903 depicting a standing cavalier in red with white sleeves and stockings and his wide-brimmed hat and word holding a standard or flag. DuMont was born in 1850, he has had numerous works sell in auction with the record high price of $1,908 in 2009.

This painting is an oil on canvas in excellent condition and measures 9.75” x 17.25” and with frame measures 14” x 21.5”.
