The elongated back panels carved in relief with facial masks, scrolled acanthus and rosettes, below an openwork crest of two birds, raised on barley twist supports and joined by arm rests with carved figural lion's heads terminals. 52.5 inches x 25.5 inches x 22 inches. The chairs are sturdy enough for regular use, but would benefit from having the joints tightened. Various nicks, scratches, slight separation in panels of seat as would be expected from age and use.
