This painting by French artist, Georges Chabrier depicts a similar subject as the last one, Guarding the Castle Gate.  The painting is in very good condition. The antique frame has had some repairs but looks great.

It measures 23 1/4” x 28 1/4” and overall with the frame measures 34.75” x 40”. The snow is created with a thick impasto paint, which looks really nice if you like the layered paint look.
